IBSTOCK LONG SERVICE
At the Ibstock Parish Church Room there was a presentation to Mr. Sam Knifton in recognition of his 30 years as organ blower at the parish church. The Rev. M. R. Newbury presided, and Mr. W. Johnson who has been in the church choir for over 50 years made the presentation. He said Mr. Knifton had set an example to the young people. The presentation took the form of a sum of money and a testimonial from members of the church andchoir.’ |
