Death of Mr. Harry Knifton

MR. HARRY KNIFTON, a well-known figure in the farming community for many years, died at his home, 43 Wood Lane, Horsley Woodhouse, yesterday, aged 70. Mr. Knifton farmed at Makeney in his early days until setting up his own business in 1930 as a threshing contractor. He had suffered ill-health for the past six years and his son has carried on the family business. He leaves a widow, a daughter and two sons. The funeral service will be held at Horsley Woodhouse Parish Church on Monday, followed by burial in Horsley Churchyard.
